Presentamos una nueva traducción del breve opúsculo de Teofrasto conocido por el nombre de Metafísica. Por cuanto sabemos, ya ha sido vertido a la lengua española una vez por Miguel Candel, el cual reprodujo la bien conocida edición de Ross y Fobes, perfeccionándola mediante una somera revisión. El objetivo que nos marcamos no es mejorar la calidad del trabajo de este probado traductor sino más bien ofrecer al público una lectura actualizada del texto.
