Plotinus: the search for the lost principle

The present exposition aims to elucidate the philosophical-epistemic procedures mobilized by Plotinus in his investigation into first principles. For this purpose, and making use of the contemporary debate on the topic, we intend to show that, despite the continuous dialogue and opposition with contemporary philosophies, Plotinus only does so in a methodological way, using the available sources with the preliminary objective of carry out your investigation: the search for the One.
