Plato: the model of cosmos to the model of pólis

This text analyses the concept of model (paradeigma) according to its different roles: epistemological, ontological, ethical and cosmological. Particular emphasis is dedicated to the relationships between the Republic, the Timaeus and the Philebus, and the paradigms used to arrive at the desired consequences in reflection of Plato and his theory of forms.Downloads
