Rhetoric is/and philosophy. Readings of Phaedrus
Keywords:
Rhetoric, Philosophy, Dialectics, PsychagogÃaAbstract
This paper presents different interpretations of Phaedrus on the relationship between rhetoric and philosophy. In opposition to interpetrations that affirm the identity of rhetoric and philosophy in the Phaedrus, this paper supports the view that there is a irredutible difference between both terms, founded on the character of Psychagogy of rethoric in contrast to the character of Didaskalía of philosophy.Downloads
