Splendour and decline of the Ethics of Enlightenment

This paper demonstrates the difference between Enlightenment and Illustration from three basic points — rationalism, individualism and universalism — developing them into elements which lead to reflections on individuality and its transformations in our century. The moral philosophies, as will be demonstrated, present several answers validating or not the individual and their moral consciousness.Downloads
