Keywords:

Aristotle examines the definition of citzenship in the realm of the polis and it is interesting to notice that when he refers to democracy he understands that this kind of government is due to demographic reasons. We shall see that instead of concentrating on any representative form of government and citizenship, he focus on the study of the mechanisms of access to the magistrate’position as well as alternation in power.Downloads
