Five works of art in Plato
Keywords:
art, mimetic, demiurgy, soulAbstract
If it is possible to say that there is a theory of Art in Plato, it is related to the reflexion of the philosopher about the World Soul and Man’s Soul, whether in the Timaeus, in Republic, Phaedon or Laws. I intend to discurs other aspects of this issues studyng the existing parallelism between the demiurges of the world soul and the ideal pólis as art-object both fashioned by an intellect that contemplates Good.Downloads
