La creación en el Timeo
Keywords:

The interpretation of the platonic cosmogony presents one of its more controversial aspects in the appreciation of the meaning of the creational act. The interpretations given so far clash with the ‘literalists’ and the ‘alegorists’ with passages that show the inadequacies of both approaches. Our work will analyse the different arguments concerning: a) the eternity of becoming; b) the eternity of the soul; c) the supposed representation of the chaos and its relationship with necessity; d) the role of the demiurge and the noûs; e) the theological model of the platonic physics.Downloads
